A notable gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito eu news ireland Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can reduce prejudice.
Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
